My Bug Album does not require an account. Bug photos and observation records are handled on the device by default.

Privacy Policy

Camera access is used to photograph a bug and add it to a habitat. If you decline access, you can still use the app where selecting a photo from your library is available.

Cutout images, names, groups, observations, and habitat settings are stored on the device. They are not synced to a server operated by us.

Background photos are cropped and resized on the device. The app keeps only the processed image needed for the background and does not permanently retain the selected original photo.

The free version uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK for a fixed banner. Advertising data may be processed to deliver and measure ads.

The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect an IP address for general location, product interactions, diagnostics, and device identifiers. The app does not send bug photos, observation records, or precise location to the advertising SDK.

Ads are configured for child-directed treatment, a general audience content rating, non-personalized delivery, and publisher first-party identifiers disabled.

The app does not request ATT permission and does not use IDFA for tracking across apps.

After an ad-removal purchase is confirmed, the app does not initialize the Google Mobile Ads SDK or its consent SDK and does not begin ad traffic.
